Due to their world-famous advertisements, GoDaddy is certainly in the public eye more than any other Web host out there. Unfortunately for them, this means that when they experience issues, people are more likely to hear about it. For example, on September 10th, 2012, GoDaddy experience a major networking failure due to corrupted router tables. This caused a DNS outage that affected millions of users for about 4.5 hours.
Similarly, on May 29th, 2016, hundreds of thousands of websites were down due to GoDaddy’s technical issues. They quickly resolved these issues, but more problems were reported just a few days later. Of course, every Web host experiences technical difficulties from time to time.
